The Coalition for Pets & Public Safety is a non-profit organization of individuals who share a deep commitment to reducing the pet overpopulation and resulting public safety problems. Altering dogs and cats is the most widely recognized strategy to diminish this problem. We are offering greater access to affordable and free spay and neuter services.

With special thanks to:

In response to the PET OVERPOPULATION CRISIS AND RELATED PUBLIC SAFETY ISSUES ARISING THEREFROM, we have formed the "COALITION FOR PETS & PUBLIC SAFETY", a nonprofit organization with 501(C)(3) status. The city council and Mayor enacted legislation encouraging all citizens to spay and neuter their pets in order to reduce the number of healthy, adoptable animals that must be killed due to lack of homes and reduce the spread of disease and vicious dog attacks from roaming, aggressive dogs. Our goal is to make Los Angeles a safe, no-kill city, by raising funds for:

Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinics: We have purchased two mobile spay/neuter clinics thus far which are traveling throughout Los Angeles in low income neighborhoods.
